Lumanan, Inc. ("Lumanan", "we", "us") operates the website at lumanan.com. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past, and it covers only this marketing site. If we launch a product with accounts and a hosted service, that service will have its own privacy documentation before you sign up.

The short version

What we collect

Aggregate site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall traffic to this site. Cloudflare Web Analytics is a privacy-first measurement tool: it does not use cookies or local storage, does not track individuals across sites, and does not collect personal identifiers for behavioral profiling. What we see is aggregate information such as page views, referrers, country-level location, and browser and device types. We cannot identify you from it, and we do not try to.

Email correspondence. If you contact us at [email protected], for example to ask a question or request early access, we receive your email address, anything you choose to tell us, and standard email metadata. Providing this information is your choice; the site works fine if you never write to us.

Server and security logs. Like nearly every website, the infrastructure that serves this site may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and requested URLs) for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.

That is everything. There are no accounts, no signup forms with hidden fields, no tracking pixels, and no advertising or social media trackers on this site.

How we use it

• To understand, in aggregate, how people find and use this site.
• To respond to your questions and to correspond with you about early access if you asked for it.
• To keep the site secure and functioning.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not combine analytics data with your email to build a profile of you.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with data brokers. We do not run third-party advertising on this site.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers needed to operate this site and our email, such as our hosting and analytics provider (Cloudflare) and our email provider, and only so they can provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a financing or acquisition, in which case this policy would continue to apply to information collected under it.

Retention

Analytics data exists only in aggregate form and is retained per Cloudflare's standard retention for Web Analytics. Email correspondence is kept for as long as we need it to handle your request and maintain our early access list, after which it can be deleted. If you want your correspondence deleted sooner, ask and we will do it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Since the only personal information we plausibly hold is email correspondence, exercising these rights is simple: email [email protected] and tell us what you want. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

Children

This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, for example if we ever add tooling that collects more than described here, we will make that clear on this page rather than burying it.
